So I'm watching some B-grade flick on SciFi channel last Saturday night (The Monkey King), and there's a pretty cute Asian actress (Bai Ling) in it, and I could swear I've seen her in some other B-grade SciFi channel flick but just can't place it, when lo and behold, the very other B-grade SciFi channel flick I'd seen her in (The Breed, starring B-SciFi cheeseball beefcake Adrian Paul of the Highlander TV series fame - or notoriety, if you prefer) but couldn't recall happens to come on (at an entirely different time, no less) on *Sunday* night, and I realize the reason I couldn't quite place her in the other movie was because in that one she's wearing really heavy she-vampire makeup (and is still pretty hot, but in a heavily-made-up gothy-she-vampiry way), so then I check out her imdb.com profile and movie list, and in the discussion-board section there's apparently some raging debate going on about whether she's a slut like Paris Hilton or just dresses like a slut like Paris Hilton because apparently she has an intense dislike of clothes that contain, like, fabric, and that leads me to this very funny weblog whose creators hopefully don't mind it being mentioned in run-on-sentence breathless prose:

Important Note to the folks at the Oxford English Dictionary: the above website's FAQ doesn't mention it, but the first time I heard the neologism "fugly" (by way of a contraction of "effing ugly") was on an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head, circa 1995. So almost back to the days of that Jiffy Chaucer dude, and stuff.
